Peer Mentors

Peer mentors are Year 10 students who assist Year 8s with their integration, enable them to quickly feel part of the school community and enjoy school life in Clounagh. They are available at break and lunch to answer questions and help with any problems which may arise in the first few weeks. Peer mentors visit Year 8 form classes every Wednesday to help support and guide students through ice breakers, discussion topics and games. Students are specifically chosen through an application process for their friendliness, responsibility, kind nature and organisation.
