Geography

All students at Clounagh Junior High School study Geography, with a focus on a wide range of themes, including human, physical and environmental geography. Pupils explore the part they can play in shaping and protecting the environment around them.

The curriculum provides opportunities for pupils to develop geographical knowledge through case studies that explore local, national and global contexts to develop a sense of place.

Students also gain practice  in subject-specific skills, such as map reading.
